Role Description The Senior Leasing & Tenant Relations Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Kuala Lumpur, responsible for managing and optimizing the tenant mix for Starhill Gallery and Lot 10. This role involves identifying prospective tenants, conducting leasing presentations, negotiating commercial lease terms, and coordinating lease documentation in alignment with company standards and market positioning. The executive will maintain strong relationships with existing tenants, address operational and service-related matters, and act as a key liaison between tenants and internal property management teams. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring tenant performance, gathering market and competitor intelligence, preparing leasing reports, and supporting marketing and promotional activities to enhance footfall and tenant sales. The role requires close collaboration with senior management to ensure leasing strategies support the malls brand positioning and long-term business objectives.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in commercial leasing, including handling Commercial Leasing activities and administering Leases for retail or mixed-use properties.
• Strong capability in Lease Negotiations, with a track record of securing favorable terms while maintaining positive tenant relationships.
• Hands-on experience with Lease Administration, including documentation, renewals, rent reviews, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in Market Research related to retail trends, tenant demand, competitor analysis, and consumer behavior to inform leasing strategies.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Real Estate, Property Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships with tenants and internal stakeholders.
• Analytical and negotiation skills, with attention to detail and the ability to interpret lease terms and financial implications.
