Senior Legal Associate / Partner (Employment / Litigation) - Global Law Firm

Overview

Our client is a reputable law firm in Kuala Lumpur with an international law firm affiliation. They are seeking to hire: (1) a Litigation Senior Associate/Partner and (2) an Employment Senior Associate/Partner.

Available Positions

1. Litigation Senior Associate / Partner (Dispute Resolution)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage litigation matters from inception through to completion
• Conduct and/or assist in full trial and appellate proceedings
• Attend court for case management, hearings, and appeals
• Draft pleadings, affidavits, submissions, and legal opinions
• Advise clients on strategy, risk, and dispute resolution options

2. Employment Senior Associate / Partner (Employment & Industrial Relations)

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on employment law, industrial relations, and regulatory compliance
• Handle employment-related disputes, including representation at the Industrial Court
• Draft employment contracts, policies, and advisory opinions
• Manage contentious and non-contentious employment matters
• Support clients in internal investigations and disciplinary processes

Requirements (Both Roles):

• Qualified Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya
• 410 years PQE (flexible depending on experience)
• Strong technical expertise in relevant practice area
• Experience managing matters independently
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage clients and work in a fast-paced environment
