- Provide timely and pragmatic legal advice and opinions to various departments on a wide range of legal matters.
- Prepare, draft, review, negotiate and finalise various contracts and legal documentations such as sale and purchase agreement, tenancy agreement and non-disclosure agreement.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and keep abreast with the development or updates in the relevant laws, regulations and industry practices.
- Prepare, review, proofread and format various legal documents, including letters, forms, notices, memorandum and instruments.
- Ensure that the company comply with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements and protect the company's right and interest.
- Prepare and manage legal documentation for land transactions and other property-related applications and filings.
- Advise and review property-related transaction from legal and authorities compliance perspective.
- Liaise and coordinate with external lawyers, regulatory authorities, advisers and external parties on legal disputes, property transactions and legal matters.
- Contribute to identifying, assessing, and mitigating legal risks associated with property transaction and development; and manage and resolve property-related disputes and issues.
- Provide legal support to the Group in all legal, operational and contractual matters, ensuring legal considerations are effectively addressed.
- Good command of written and oral English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to speak in Mandarin is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Malaysian law and able to articulate legal concepts clearly and concisely.
- Good legal research, analytical, problem-solving, drafting and negotiation skills.
- 3 - 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), ideally gained in law firm with a conveyancing, real estate, or corporate/commercial practice, or in an in-house legal department within the relevant industry.
- Bachelors degree in law (LLB) or its equivalent.
- Broad Legal Exposure Gain comprehensive experience across corporate, commercial, property, contractual, and regulatory legal matters within a group-level environment.
- Strong Real Estate & Property Focus Develop specialised expertise in land transactions, property development, conveyancing, regulatory compliance, and property-related disputes.
- End-to-End Legal Responsibilities Handle the full legal process from research and drafting to negotiation, documentation, risk assessment, and dispute resolution.
- Strategic Business Involvement Provide practical legal advice that directly supports business operations, protects company interests, and mitigates legal and commercial risks.
- Extensive Stakeholder Engagement Work closely with external lawyers, regulatory authorities, advisers, and internal departments, strengthening professional networks and negotiation capabilities.
