Job Description
- Draft, review, and support negotiations for a wide range of contracts, including commercial, distribution, software, procurement, construction, oil & gas, and industry-standard agreements.
- Lead or support regional and cluster initiatives, including policy implementation and localization of contract templates.
- Manage claims support activities and oversee litigation matters in coordination with external counsel.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal Group policies, including driving and supporting the competition law compliance program.
- Partner closely with senior stakeholders across commercial, HR, finance, procurement, operations, and corporate functions to provide strategic legal support.
- Support corporate governance requirements and legal entity management activities.
- Design and deliver legal training programs to business teams to promote risk awareness and compliance.
- Provide general legal support as required to meet business needs and support Legal Management objectives.
The Successful Applicant
- Qualified lawyer holding a Bachelor's degree in Law with at least 8 - 10 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Experience working within a multinational organization, demonstrating a strong capability to operate effectively in an in-house legal role.
- Strong negotiation, contract drafting, and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience handling regulatory and compliance matters across multiple jurisdictions.
- Proactive and collaborative approach to partnering with business teams to identify, evaluate, and manage key legal and commercial risks.
- Commercially driven, well-organized, and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Fluent in spoken and written English; proficiency in Mandarin is advantageous.
