About the Role
Responsible for managing and driving regional Bancassurance sales performance through effective execution of sales strategies, strong engagement with partner bank branches, and close monitoring of sales activities to achieve production targets aligned with the Company's profitability and sustainable growth objectives.Act as a key link between strategic direction and on-ground execution by leading the team, strengthening collaboration with bank partners, and ensuring consistent delivery of business outcomes including productivity, penetration, and service excellence.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Drive sales performance and achievement of regional Bancassurance targets through effective monitoring, reporting, and implementation of corrective actions.
Lead and manage a team of Specialists / Analyst to ensure delivery of sales targets, productivity, and business quality.
Translate sales strategies into actionable plans and ensure consistent execution across assigned branches.
Collaborate and align with partner bank stakeholders (regional managers, sales managers, and branch managers) to review performance and drive joint action plans.
Build and maintain strong relationships with branch managers and key stakeholders (internal & external) to support business growth.
Oversee and drive branch sales activities and lead generation initiatives, including co-organising banca sales campaigns and engagement activities.
Lead regular sales review meetings with bank partners, providing insights, recommendations, and follow-through on action plans.
Provide structured training, coaching, and joint field work to enhance sellers performance and capabilities, including support for new and underperforming sellers.
Drive capability development and team engagement, strengthening overall sales effectiveness.
Ensure timely preparation and consolidation of performance reports, providing updates to senior management on business performance, trends, and action plans.
Oversee servicing support and ensure quality end-to-end customer experience, including follow-up on documentation, medical cases, and service requests.
Support recruitment and manpower planning, including sourcing and onboarding to achieve manpower targets.
Drive key business metrics including ANP, VONB, productivity, persistency, and manpower growth with healthy product mix and portfolio margin.
Ensure compliance with corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory requirements, maintaining high standards of sales ethics and customer engagement.
Enhance productivity and penetration rates of Financial Executives (FE) and Unit Trust (UT) Consultants.
Promote Vitality attachment and overall regional sales performance.
Manage ad hoc tasks and special projects as assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field with minimum 10 years of experience in sales, bancassurance, or financial services.
Proven track record in team management, including coaching, performance monitoring, and driving sales results.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with ability to build and maintain effective business partnerships.
Solid understanding of bancassurance products and sales processes, with hands-on experience in training and field coaching.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, including ability to interpret sales data and prepare performance reports.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills (English & Bahasa Malaysia), with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
