About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to lead and support the marketing and sales efforts for Single Premium, Regular Premium, Credit Life, and SME Employee Benefits (EB) products in collaboration with our bank partner. This role is responsible for driving sales performance, coaching frontliners, managing campaign execution, and supporting regional reporting and review activities to ensure achievement of business targets.
Sales & Performance Management
- Drive sales targets across key product lines:
- Credit Life
- Regular Premium
- SME EB & Others
- Enhance productivity and penetration rates of Financial Executives (FE) and Unit Trust (UT) consultants.
- Promote Vitality attachment and overall regional sales performance.
Relationship & Channel Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with bank branch managers.
- Review Bancassurance performance regularly and develop strategies to meet branch-level targets.
Training & Coaching
- Conduct regular coaching sessions:
- Rookie FE ( 1 year): 2 sessions/month
- Experienced FE ( 1 year): 1 session/month
- Monthly engagement with FE (UT)
- Provide joint field support and coaching for new Insurance Specialists (IS).
Sales Support & Reporting
- Prepare monthly performance reports for branch managers.
- Conduct quarterly SME meetings to share product updates and address feedback.
- Support EB appointments and attend client meetings with product champions.
Regional Support & Review
- Assist the Regional Head with daily/weekly reporting and sales review meetings.
Personal Development
- Continuously enhance personal skills and knowledge to support role effectiveness.
Job Requirements:
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and competencies:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of10 years of working experience, preferably in Bancassurance, insurance sales, or financial services.
- Provenpeople management experience, including coaching, performance monitoring, and development planning for sales teams.
Leadership & Management Skills
- Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of managing and motivating sales teams to achieve performance targets.
- Experience in conducting training, coaching sessions, and joint fieldwork to enhance frontliner capabilities.
- Ability to assess team development needs and implement structured growth plans.
Sales & Analytical Skills
- Solid understanding of Bancassurance products including Credit Life, Regular Premium, and SME Employee Benefits.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data, identify trends, and develop actionable strategies.
- Experience in preparing business performance reports and conducting sales reviews.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and bank partners.
- Confident in delivering presentations and facilitating group discussions.
