Senior Manager, Banking Operations

• Responsible for the Retail Banking Operations of the Branch, viz., onboarding of customer saving account, current account, deposit accounts and safe deposit locker facilities.
• Processing inward and outward remittances.
• Oversee and monitor the Bank's Global KYC/ AML Standards, Account Documentation procedures, Local Laws and Regulations and implement related control processes.
• Oversee the Client risk assessments and various MIS reports for management reporting to facilitate review in managing risk and strengthening the control procedures and processes.
• Train Front office staff on KYC related subjects.
• Responsible to build and nurture strong relationship with customers.
• Conversant with all related regulatory norms both in Singapore and India.
• Attend to Internal and External Audits and ensure rectification of deficiencies pointed out.
• Work closely with Senior Management to provide views and recommendations on market trends and conditions.
• Promote Bank products to customers.
• Foreign Exchange Back Office Operation. Responsibility includes monitoring market risk related to dealing room operations including checking breaches relating to Daylight, Overnight, AGL, IGL, Stop-Loss positions.
• Ensuring timely submission of various MIS Reports to Head Office and MAS.

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent preferably in the field of Banking and finance.
• Banking experience of a minimum of 5 years in related field.
• Good understanding of financial statements.
• Sound knowledge of banking systems/processes/procedures.
• Good management skills and analytical mindset, one who can effectively analyse a situation and make decisions to address issues/problem.
• Excellent communication and inter personal skills with the ability to Interact with all levels of staff and top management.
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• The candidate should preferably have experience in different verticals such as International Banking, Computer Application and Business Management.
