We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior Manager reporting to the Executive Vice Finance Operations Global Leader. This full-time and permanent position is based in Johor or Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Finance Operation and its growth.

Job Summary:

The Senior Manager is responsible for providing strategic, operational, and people leadership to the Billing and Cash Receipts functions across Asia‑region entities within the Global Shared Services Centre. This role oversees end‑to‑end O2C delivery, ensuring operational excellence, strong financial controls, compliance with service‑level commitments, and continuous process optimization. The position plays a key leadership role in business partnering, decision support for billing matters, and driving transformation initiatives, including ERP and process harmonization programs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership & Governance

  • Provide strategic leadership for the Billing and Cash Application functions across multiple Asian jurisdictions, ensuring alignment with global finance strategy and organizational priorities.
  • Establish strong governance over O2C processes, policies, and controls to ensure compliance with corporate standards, regulatory requirements, and audit expectations.
  • Serve as the O2C regional leader and key advisor to senior business stakeholders on billing impacts, revenue implications, and operational risks.
  • Drive standardization, harmonization, and scalability of O2C processes across countries and business units.

2. Operational Management & Service Delivery (BAU)

  • Lead and oversee daily operations for Billing & Cash Receipts teams, ensuring timely, accurate, and high‑quality service delivery in accordance with SLAs and KPIs.
  • Monitor operational performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to ensure continuous improvement and strong SLA adherence.
  • Ensure invoice accuracy, timely issuance, cash allocation completeness, and reconciliation integrity across all managed markets.
  • Manage multi‑country O2C complexity, including local statutory requirements, tax considerations, and varying billing models.

3. Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and succession planning to strengthen functional capabilities and support long‑term team development.
  • Promote a performance‑driven environment supported by clear KPIs, structured reviews, and competency development.

4. Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a trusted advisor to local finance teams, commercial leaders, and business units on all billing and cash application‑related matters.
  • Support strategic decision‑making by providing financial insights, scenario analysis, and recommendations related to billing operations and revenue recognition impacts.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with Sales, FP&A, Tax, Commercial, and Project teams to ensure effective O2C execution.

5. Transformation, ERP & Process Excellence

  • Serve as a local driver and subject‑matter lead for ERP transformation projects, including SAP HANA migrations and future O2C digitalization initiatives.
  • Lead process design, testing, data migration, training, and cutover activities to ensure smooth system transitions with minimal operational disruption.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging automation, system enhancements, and workflow optimization to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

6. Migration & Transition Program Leadership

  • Manage end‑to‑end migration of new countries into the central Billing/O2C hub, ensuring structured transition, knowledge capture, risk mitigation, and successful go‑live.
  • Develop transition plans, country readiness assessments, and stabilization processes for newly onboarded entities.
  • Ensure seamless integration of new teams, processes, and documentation into the SSC operating model.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and people development capabilities
  • Expert knowledge of O2C processes (Billing, Cash Application, AR, Reconciliation)
  • Deep experience in shared service environments and multi‑country operational models
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP HANA) and process automation
  • Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills
  • Solid analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities
  • Demonstrated experience in transformation, migration, and process re‑engineering
  • High attention to financial controls, compliance, and operational discipline

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience (8+ years) in Order to Cash or related finance operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end O2C processes in a shared services or global business services environment.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and automation tools (e.g., RPA, AI).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, Six Sigma, PMP) are a plus.
