Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Messaging Channel Service Delivery team. The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the onboarding and management of alternative messaging channels, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in messaging technologies, project management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding Alternative Messaging Channels:
  • Lead the communication, evaluation and selection of new messaging channel partners
  • Develop and execute onboarding plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables with product and engineering teams to integrate new channels to the messaging platform
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for all messaging channels
  • Carrier API Management:
  • Manage carrier APIs for authentication integration and onboarding
  • Collaborate with carriers to ensure seamless API integration and functionality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to carrier APIs
  • Channel Provider Liaison:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external partners related to the messaging channels
  • Manage partnerships with mobile operators (where applicable) to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Management of Messaging Channels:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations on newly onboarded messaging channels, ensuring high availability and performance
  • Monitor and analyse channel performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement
  • Implement best practices for channel management and optimization
  • Project Management:
  • Develop and maintain project plans & timelines
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and ensure projects are delivered on time
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives

Skills And Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Business Administration or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience on related field in messaging with at least 3 years in a management role
  • Experience with A2P messaging services and secure authentication solutions
  • Proven track record of successfully onboarding and managing alternative messaging channels.
  • Strong understanding of messaging technologies and protocols
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional projects
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
