Senior Manager, Corporate & Business Planning (Japanese speaker)

Working closely with management and various departments, you will support business operations through annual budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and KPI management. You will also be involved in cross-functional initiatives, including business process improvement, internal controls, and the implementation and enhancement of internal systems.

This is not simply an administrative or reporting role. You will be expected to understand the overall business from both financial and operational perspectives, identify key issues, and translate your analysis into insights that support management decision-making and operational improvements across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

With a primary focus on corporate planning and performance management, your responsibilities will include:

• Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts
• Monitor and analyze company-wide and departmental performance and KPIs
• Conduct budget vs. actual variance analysis and prepare reports for management
• Collect and analyze data required for management decision-making
• Review and improve business processes and SOPs in collaboration with relevant departments
• Develop, maintain, and enhance internal control processes
• Support internal audits and coordinate with relevant departments
• Support the implementation, operation, and improvement of internal systems such as SAP and CRM
• Drive projects related to process optimization and digital transformation (DX)
• Handle other ad-hoc projects related to management and business operations
  
  

Requirements

• At least 10 years of professional working experience
• Hands-on experience in Corporate Planning, Business Planning, Management Planning, or a similar function
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, business performance analysis, and KPI management
• Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional projects involving multiple departments
• Experience implementing or using core business systems such as SAP, CRM, or similar platforms
• Business-level English and Japanese proficiency
