What You'll Do:

(a) Investor Communication & Market Engagement

  • Lead the preparation of investor presentations around business performance, strategy, risks and outlook, results decks, fact sheets, and corporate messaging.
  • Act as key liaison with investors, analysts, fund manager and shareholders.
  • Assist in investor roadshows, capital markets and industry conference, quarterly earnings briefings/ press releases and analysts calls (pre and post IPO)
  • Engage with key business units, finance, marketing & comms to ensure consistent messaging across investor-facing materials and communications
  • Support senior management in investor meetings by preparing talking points, Q&A document and market positioning

(b) Financial & Strategic Storytelling

  • Translate financial performance, business strategy, and growth plans into a clear and compelling equity story
  • Work closely with Finance, Corp Development and Corporate Communication team to align investor messaging with long term strategy
  • Conduct in-depth industry, market, business performance and competitive analyses/trends and highlight key value drivers to investors
  • Track and communicate emerging trends (technology, regulation, sustainability) that may impact the business
  • Support communication of strategic initiatives such as M&A, partnerships, new market entry, and major investments.

(c) Capital Markets & Corporate Transactions Support

  • Support capital market activities including IPO preparation, equity fund raising and any corporate exercises.
  • Coordinate with bankers, legal advisers, auditors and regulatory bodies during capital market transactions.
  • Assist in preparing prospectus sections, investor presentations and analysts education materials.
  • Plan and organise fund raising activities and implementation of IPOs plans including prospecting new strategic investors, regulator management and post-IPO listing related matters.
  • Ensure investor communication is aligned before, during and after any corporate transactions.

(d) Market Intelligence & Investor Feedback

  • Monitor market sentiment, analyst reports, peer performance and investor expectations.
  • Provide regular investor perception reports to senior management.
  • Track share price performance, valuation multiples and competitor positioning
  • Analyse investor questions and concerns to help management refine strategy communication.

(e) Corporate Reporting & Disclosure

  • Support the preparation of annual reports, sustainability reports and investor communications.
  • Ensure compliance with Bursa Malaysia / Regulatory disclosures (post IPO)
  • Work closely with Legal Finance, Corporate Communications team to ensure accuracy and consistency

Role Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in investor relations, corporate finance, equity research, investment banking.
  • Experience and comfortable in engaging with institutional investors and analyst houses. Having existing relationships will be a plus.
  • Had exposures to capital markets transactions (IPO, Fund Raising or M&A) is highly preferred.
  • Experience in a listed company (understand Bursa Listing Requirements) or listed fintech company / financial institution is an advantage.
  • Strong financial analysis and valuation knowledge.
  • Excellent presentation and storytelling skills.
  • Strong business and commercial understanding.
  • Ability to translate complex financial information into clear messaging.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Strong English both spoken and written. Ability to speak mandarin is a plus.
  • High attention to detail and strong execution discipline.
  • Ability to work closely with senior leadership and the Board.
  • CFA / ACCA / CPA is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • 70% IR experience + 30% corp dev experience.
