JOB PURPOSE
The primary purpose of the role is to lead and drive the organisation's digital marketing and media strategy, shaping long-term digital direction, driving brand visibility, enhancing customer experience, and enabling business growth. The role is accountable for transforming digital marketing capabilities, driving data-led decision-making, and influencing cross-functional strategies to strengthen market competitiveness and revenue performance.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Define and lead the organization's digital marketing and media strategy, aligning with overall business and commercial objectives.
- Shape long-term customer engagement and digital experience strategy, ensuring consistency across all customer touchpoints.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives, including adoption of new platforms, data capabilities (e.g. CDP) and marketing technologies across the organization.
- Own digital marketing performance as a key sales driver, contributing directly to lead generation, conversion and sales outcomes.
- Lead media investment strategy and budget optimisation, ensuring maximum ROI and efficient allocation across channels.
- Oversee execution of digital marketing campaigns across channels (social media, search, CRM, web), ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Translate data and insights into strategic actions that drive market share, customer acquisition and lifetime value.
- Drive cross-functional alignment across sales, marketing, brand and customer experience teams to deliver integrated digital strategies.
- Lead stakeholder and agency management, ensuring alignment and effectiveness in delivering digital marketing initiatives.
- Establish governance frameworks, standards and best practices for digital marketing across the organization.
- Build and develop internal digital capabilities, including team upskilling and optimisation of the agency ecosystem.
- Provide thought leadership on digital marketing trends, innovations and investments, influencing key business and marketing decisions.
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL COMPETENCES
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline
- Postgraduate qualification (e.g. MBA or Master's in Marketing) is an advantage
- Minimum 10–12 years of relevant experience in digital marketing and media, with a strong focus on performance marketing and business growth
- Proven experience in developing and leading integrated digital strategies, delivering measurable commercial outcomes (e.g. lead generation, sales conversion)
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale digital ecosystems, including multi-channel platforms (social media, search, programmatic, CRM, web) and significant media budgets
- Prior experience in a managerial or leadership role, with exposure to stakeholder and agency management
- Experience in property / real estate or a related industry is an advantage
- Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to translate business objectives into digital marketing strategies and long-term initiatives
- Deep expertise in digital ecosystems and media platforms, including analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, ad platforms, CRM/CDP)
- Strong commercial acumen, with a clear understanding of revenue drivers, lead generation and conversion performance
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and business decisions
- Proven ability to design and optimise end-to-end customer journeys across multiple digital touchpoints
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders and cross-functional leadership teams
- Leadership capability to build, guide and develop teams, as well as manage agency and partner ecosystems
- Strong project and programme management skills, with the ability to drive multiple strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment
- Up-to-date knowledge of digital trends, technologies and best practices, with the ability to apply them at a strategic level
- Experience leading digital transformation and change management initiatives across an organisation
