About the Role

Responsible for leading employee compensation and benefits programmes to reward and recognise employees contribution to AIA. Additionally, to oversee payroll and benefits operations and HR Services including HRIT.

  • Develop and implement remuneration components such as salaries, bonuses and long-term incentives

  • Facilitate job evaluations, performance appraisals and remuneration review processes

  • Develop and implement policies and processes for international assignment (both short-term and long-term) and one-way transfer across entities

  • Participate in remuneration surveys

  • Administer remuneration programmes for executives

  • Provide expertise in the design, implementation, and analysis of other remuneration related areas such as sales incentive, retirement plans, life and medical insurances, recognition awards

  • Oversee payroll and benefits operations and HR Services including HRIT.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification demonstrating strong academic grounding relevant to Human Resources or equivalent

  • Substantial experience managing compensation and benefits programmes within complex organisations operating across multiple jurisdictions

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels to deliver effective reward programmes that meet both business needs and employee expectations

  • Demonstrated skill in coaching, mentoring, and managing less experienced team members as well as non-specialist colleagues on total rewards topics

  • Excellent communication skills enabling you to translate technical concepts into clear guidance for stakeholders at all levels of the organisation

  • Strong analytical capabilities allowing you to review market data critically and provide actionable insights for compensation benchmarking and salary guidance development.

  • Competence in using HRIS platforms (preferably Workday) for benefits administration, data management, process automation, testing new functionalities or modules related to compensation management.

  • Familiarity with job evaluation methodology(s) with experience in salary management and incentive compensation planning.
