Senior Manager, Insurance Risk Analytics (KL-based)

Our client, a global leading insurer, is looking to appoint a Senior Manager, Insurance Risk Analytics in Kuala Lumpur.

About the Role

This is a high-impact role within the organisation's analytics function, leveraging data, advanced analytics and AI to generate actionable risk insights across the insurance value chain, spanning areas such as claims analytics, fraud detection, persistency and actuarial monitoring across multiple markets in Asia. You will translate complex insurance risk problems into clear analytical frameworks, hypotheses and decision-support outputs. In addition, you will design and build robust, production-grade analytics solutions while partnering closely with stakeholders across claims, medical, fraud and actuarial teams to drive adoption into business processes.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in insurance risk analytics, preferably within Life & Health
• Strong technical skills in Python, SQL, Power BI and DAX
• Experience working with medical or claims data is highly advantageous
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage cross-functional teams
• Strong attention to accuracy, interpretability and business impact of analytics outputs
