Job Description

Summary

Our client is a Singapore-listed REIT manager seeking a Senior Manager to support and manage the REIT's investor relations activities as a standalone function. Reporting directly to the CFO, with regular interaction with the CEO and Board, the successful candidate will manage relationships with institutional and retail investors, sell-side analysts and other capital markets stakeholders, while supporting the REIT's financial narrative and market positioning.

This is a senior and hands-on individual contributor role suited to a candidate with strong financial and capital markets knowledge. The successful candidate should be comfortable working independently and have a good understanding of REIT financial disclosures, SGX requirements and investor communications.

Candidates whose experience is primarily in brand marketing, PR/media relations or communications, without meaningful exposure to financial disclosure, investor/analyst engagement or capital markets, will not be suitable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key point of contact for institutional and retail investors, sell-side analysts and other capital markets stakeholders.
  • Lead and coordinate the preparation of quarterly and half-yearly results materials, including SGX announcements, investor presentations, analyst briefing materials and management Q&A.
  • Coordinate regulatory announcements, press releases and continuous disclosure materials in compliance with SGX Listing Manual and applicable MAS requirements.
  • Work closely with the CFO and CEO on investor messaging, disclosure considerations and communications relating to key corporate developments.
  • Manage sensitive information flows and disclosure processes surrounding capital markets activities, including debt refinancing, structured financing and equity fundraising.
  • Develop and maintain the REIT's equity story, financial narrative and market positioning across results briefings, annual reports, roadshows and investor communications.
  • Coordinate analyst and investor meetings, AGMs, roadshows and non-deal roadshows, including liaison with external capital markets advisors.
  • Monitor investor sentiment, unit price performance, peer REIT benchmarking and analyst coverage, providing market intelligence and insights to senior management.
  • Support the annual report production process, including corporate and financial narrative sections, sustainability disclosures and coordination with external vendors.
  • Manage day-to-day IR activities, including investor and unitholder enquiries, communications and maintenance of the IR website.
  • Maintain strong relationships with the investment community and proactively identify opportunities to enhance investor engagement and market visibility.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in investor relations, equity research, credit ratings, corporate finance or capital markets.
  • Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business, Economics or a related discipline. CFA or other relevant professional qualification is an advantage.
  • Prior experience within a listed REIT, real estate company, investment manager or financial institution is preferred.
  • Proven experience engaging directly with institutional investors, sell-side analysts and/or rating agencies.
  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to understand and discuss financial statements, NOI, DPU, leverage, interest coverage, debt covenants and capital structure.
  • Good understanding of SGX-listed company disclosure and continuous disclosure requirements; prior SGX/MAS experience is highly preferred.
  • Excellent spoken and written English, with the confidence to represent the company in analyst calls, investor meetings and other external engagements.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial, regulatory and legal information into clear and concise investor and management materials.
  • Experience working closely with senior management, external asset managers, legal counsel, auditors and capital markets advisors.
  • US or cross-border real estate/REIT exposure will be advantageous.
