Senior Manager of Operations & Sales - Metal Manufacturing

Job Overview:

We are seeking a senior leader to drive both the operational and commercial success of metal manufacturing business. This role will work closely with the board and executive team to set strategic direction, ensure operational excellence, and grow the business sustainably.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the board and executives to define short-term objectives, medium-term goals, and strategic plans.
• Oversee manufacturing operations to ensure high production efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality standards.
• Lead and mentor teams, fostering a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Drive sales and marketing initiatives by building strong customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and expanding market share.
• Monitor industry trends, business performance, and emerging opportunities to support revenue growth.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, shareholders, business partners, and government authorities.
• Champion sustainable growth and long-term business success.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in the metals industry, preferably non-ferrous metal manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in operations or management, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong network and experience in sales and marketing within the metal industry.
• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Strong business writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel for business development, sales, and marketing purposes.
• Based in Melaka.
