As part of this transformation, the Senior Manager, Sales Development & Inside Sales will play a critical role in scaling our regional demand generation, pipeline acceleration and virtual sales engine across diverse markets.

Role Overview

The Senior Manager, Sales Development & Inside Sales APAC is responsible for leading, developing, and optimizing Check Point's regional SDR and Inside Sales organization. This leader will oversee a distributed team spanning multiple languages, time zones, and market segments driving measurable growth through structured programs, disciplined operations, and people development.

The role requires strong leadership across sales operations, people management and vendor partnerships, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with global GTM priorities.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Lead and scale the Sales Development Representative (SDR) and Inside Sales functions across APAC to achieve pipeline and revenue goals.
  • Build a high-performance culture that attracts, develops, and retains top virtual sales talent.
  • Collaborate with Field Sales, Global/APAC Marketing, Renewals and Customer Success to align motions that accelerate new business and renewals.
  • Drive consistent execution of prospecting, qualification, and opportunity-handoff processes.
  • Own quarterly business reviews, productivity metrics, and reporting cadence to ensure transparency and accountability.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee daily operations, including inbound and outbound prospecting, lead management, and opportunity conversion.
  • Develop and implement data-driven playbooks to optimize funnel efficiency, campaign alignment, and conversion metrics.
  • Partner with Sales Operations and BI teams to enhance CRM dashboards, forecasting, and performance insights.
  • Monitor and manage vendor performance across APAC hubs to ensure service quality, cost efficiency, and SLA compliance.
  • Standardize tools, KPIs, and processes to create a unified APAC operating rhythm.

People Development & Leadership

  • Manage a diverse team of Inside Sales Managers, Team Leads and SDRs across multiple regions.
  • Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Design structured onboarding, enablement, and coaching programs tailored for young, early-career talent.
  • Champion inclusion, local cultural awareness, and team engagement across different countries and time zones.

Vendor & Ecosystem Management

  • Oversee partnerships with outsourced sales vendors in other APAC locations.
  • Evaluate and improve vendor productivity, quality and cost alignment.
  • Ensure consistent messaging, process adherence and compliance with Check Point standards.

Background:

  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • 1215 years of experience in Sales Development, Inside Sales or Virtual Sales Operations, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
  • Proven success managing multi-country SDR/Inside Sales teams across APAC.
  • Experience working in high-growth, matrixed, and fast-paced technology environments (cybersecurity or SaaS preferred).
  • Strong understanding of sales funnel dynamics, CRM management (Salesforce), and demand generation metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage outsourced vendors or partner-led sales delivery models.
  • Exceptional communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills across multiple cultures.
  • Comfortable working with data, analytics, and process automation to drive scale.
  • Fluent in English; additional Asian language proficiency (Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean) is advantageous.
