Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the strategic planning and operational excellence of existing businesses and international expansion activities.
  2. Support to launch, iterate and scale new concepts/revenue streams or growth projects.
  3. Support in the identification of strategic issues and opportunities that could influence business growth and profitability.
  4. Support in the management of portfolio of investee companies to deliver deal value.
  5. Support the development of thought leadership and market intelligence for the Group via targeted research on industries, markets, customer segments, competitors, and regulatory landscapes.
  6. Build financial models and provide financial analysis for business case simulations, project economics, funding plan and perform sensitivity analyses to highlight key risks.
  7. Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives and ensure successful new market setup and activation.
  8. Coordinate and follow up with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that project timelines are met.
  9. To support ad-hoc special projects by top management/other departments as and when required

Requirements

Job Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Relevant working experience in management consulting, strategy, business planning, corporate finance, research, or equivalent
  • Strong analytical, numerical, commercial, and execution skills
  • Demonstrates critical and strategic thinking; entrepreneurial mindset is an added advantage
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially MS Excel), Bloomberg, Capital IQ, and related tool
  • Excellent organisational, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to ask relevant and probing question
