Senior Network Automation Engineer - Python+Networking - 8+yrs,Immediate joiners only

8+ years of hands-on experience in Software Tools and Automation

Python proficiency of hands-on Python. Framework ownership, not just scripting. Ability to write clean, structured, reusable code. SSH/Paramiko, pytest/Robot Framework, log parsing, report generation.

Linux / Networking basics — CLI comfort, TCP/IP fundamentals, network interfaces, packet-level understanding. Ethernet protocol knowledge (VLAN, L2/L3) is a strong plus given Automotive networking IC domain.

Automation acumen — framework design thinking, CI/CD awareness, SSH-based remote test infrastructure. Not REST API based.

C/C++ basics — doesn't need to be deep, just enough to understand what's being tested.

Embedded testing background (CAN, UDS, HIL/SIL)

AI tools usage in daily workflow

Automotive domain knowledge

Networking: Ethernet Frame Structure, VLAN Tagging, Routing & Switching, IPv4/IPv6 Packet Flow, Tagging Concepts.

Python (Basic & Advanced): Data Types, Classes, Multi-threading

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Excellent customer communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience working with global, cross-functional engineering teams

Hands-on experience with specialized Python libraries:

python-can, pymodbus, scapy, numpy, scikit-learn

Professional background in Automotive (e.g., Autonomous Driving, EV) or Industrial Automation sectors

Solid knowledge of Linux system administration and shell scripting (Bash)

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or a related field

Good to Have

CAN Bus and UDS protocol knowledge for automotive embedded systems

Solid foundation knowledge of networking concepts including Ethernet frame structure, Vlan tagging, routing and switching

Flask (Python web framework) and Pytest for testing

REST API design and integration experience

Database optimization and query performance tuning

ECM / Domain Controller development experience

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automation tools for embedded software development workflows

Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Docker, and Conan package management

Develop scalable full-stack applications using Python

Implement automated testing frameworks and integrate static code analysis tools (e.g., PC-LINT Plus)

Perform debugging and root cause analysis on complex embedded and tooling issues

Manage and optimize SQL databases supporting internal engineering platforms

Collaborate cross-functionally with global customer engineering teams as the technical SPOC

Leverage AI-assisted development practices to enhance productivity and code quality

Write and maintain shell scripts (Bash) for Linux-based build and automation environments
