Senior Network Engineer – Firewall

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer – Firewall to join our team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network security, specifically in managing firewalls and ensuring the integrity and security of our network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage firewall configurations and rules to ensure network security.
• Monitor network traffic and firewall performance to identify and mitigate potential threats.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot network issues and optimize performance.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior network engineers and team members.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in network engineering with a focus on firewalls and security protocols.
• Proficient in configuring and managing firewalls such as Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, or Fortinet.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VPNs, and routing protocols.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST) and best practices in cybersecurity.
