The Role
As a Senior Network Engineer / Network Operations Engineer, you will be the go-to expert for advanced network operations, troubleshooting and technical escalations within the technology sector. You'll make sure enterprise network infrastructure stays available, stable and fast, while supporting fellow engineers and driving improvements in monitoring, reporting and operational processes. This is a hybrid role where your hands-on expertise and leadership will make a real difference.
What You'll Do
• Provide senior-level support for complex network incidents and escalations
• Monitor and maintain the availability, stability and performance of enterprise network infrastructure
• Lead troubleshooting and RCA for critical outages and recurring incidents
• Support configuration, implementation and troubleshooting of routers, switches, firewalls, F5/load balancers, MPLS and SD-WAN
• Lead or support failover testing, maintenance, upgrades and change activities
• Coordinate resolution with internal teams, vendors and telcos, and produce management-level reports on availability, SLA and capacity
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, and recommend network automation and monitoring enhancements
What We're Looking For
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on enterprise Network Engineering, NOC or Network Operations experience
• Strong knowledge of enterprise LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VLAN, TCP/IP and network protocols
• Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches, firewalls, F5/load balancers, MPLS and SD-WAN
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Nagios, SolarWinds, PRTG or similar
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills, including handling major incidents and capacity issues
• Strong reporting and analytical ability across SLA, utilisation and incident trends
• Exposure to AI/AIOps platforms (e.g. Cisco AI Network Analytics, HPE Mist/Marvis, Splunk AI Assistant) is highly desirable
