Responsibilities
- To arrange, coordinate and prioritize daily warehouse work activities, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping, to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
- Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure a productive and cohesive working environment.
- To determine the most efficient use of storage space and implement proper shelving labelling and arrangement of products in order to provide easy accessibility and systematic storage of goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts, reconciliations, and audits.
- To implement proper handling procedures train staff on safe material handling practices and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- To perform additional task as and when assigned by superior.
Education
QUALIFICATION :
- Diploma or Certificate in Electromechanical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in warehouse / inventory management experience preferably in food industry.
- Independent with strong leadership, analytical and problems solving skills.
- Good written & verbal communication skills in both English & Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficiency in computer software such as Microsoft Office applications and knowledge in WMS system will be an added advantage.
- Able to drive a forklift or reach truck (added advantage)
