Job Description

Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

  • Assist in overseeing the end-to-end operational processes across sales, aftersales, logistics, and vehicle delivery functions.
  • Ensure alignment of operations with corporate goals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and industry best practices.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify areas for operational enhancement and propose data-driven solutions to optimize efficiency, reduce cost, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Support the implementation of process improvement initiatives, including digital transformation and lean management practices.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Track and analyze key operational metrics and KPIs to evaluate departmental performance.
  • Prepare and present regular operational reports and dashboards for senior management review.

Interdepartmental Coordination:

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders including Sales, Aftersales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Customer Service teams to facilitate smooth execution of operational activities.
  • Act as a key point of contact for operational issue resolution and escalation management.

Compliance & Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure that all operational activities comply with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Monitor adherence to quality control procedures to maintain high service standards.

Vendor & Asset Management:

  • Coordinate with third-party service providers, suppliers, and logistics partners to support business operations.
  • Monitor asset utilization, fleet management, and vehicle lifecycle processes as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Automotive Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Minimum 35 years of relevant working experience in automotive operations, dealership management, or supply chain/logistics.
  • Strong understanding of operational workflows within the automotive industry.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced in using ERP or DMS systems (e.g., SAP, Dealer Management Systems).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
