Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Assist in overseeing the end-to-end operational processes across sales, aftersales, logistics, and vehicle delivery functions.
- Ensure alignment of operations with corporate goals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and industry best practices.
Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for operational enhancement and propose data-driven solutions to optimize efficiency, reduce cost, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Support the implementation of process improvement initiatives, including digital transformation and lean management practices.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Track and analyze key operational metrics and KPIs to evaluate departmental performance.
- Prepare and present regular operational reports and dashboards for senior management review.
Interdepartmental Coordination:
- Liaise with internal stakeholders including Sales, Aftersales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Customer Service teams to facilitate smooth execution of operational activities.
- Act as a key point of contact for operational issue resolution and escalation management.
Compliance & Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all operational activities comply with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies.
- Monitor adherence to quality control procedures to maintain high service standards.
Vendor & Asset Management:
- Coordinate with third-party service providers, suppliers, and logistics partners to support business operations.
- Monitor asset utilization, fleet management, and vehicle lifecycle processes as required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Automotive Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum 35 years of relevant working experience in automotive operations, dealership management, or supply chain/logistics.
- Strong understanding of operational workflows within the automotive industry.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced in using ERP or DMS systems (e.g., SAP, Dealer Management Systems).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin is an advantage.
- Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
