We are looking for Senior Order Management & Billing Specialist to join our Penang & global Finance team! The team consists of 5 members in Penang and reporting to the Senior Manager. In this role, you will be an integral part of both the local and global Finance teams.
We would love to speak with you if you have the skills in order management, billing, and related processes, as well as experience working with internal teams, including sales, finance, and customer service, to provide exceptional service to our clients with relevant software systems.
About You – Experience, Education, Skills, And Accomplishments
- 2+ years direct experience with billing/invoicing or subscription management.
- Good knowledge of CRM sales systems, Oracle EBS, Salesforce and/or Order to Cash/Billing system .
- Experience in end to end order management process and ensuring accurate billing and revenue recognition.
It would be great if you also have . . .
- Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accounting field.
- Good knowledge of Order Management processes and business systems including, Zuora & NetSuite.
- Good to have 4-6 years of experience in the related field.
- Good overall business knowledge and possess effective communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Research skills and able to work on own initiative
What will you be doing in this role
- Manage the end-to-end order management process, including order entry, tracking, fulfilment, and billing
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, finance, and customer service, to ensure timely and accurate order processing
- Handle customer inquiries related to order status, billing, and payments
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of sales orders, invoices, and payments
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure accurate pricing, discounts, and promotions are applied to customer orders
- Maintain and update customer data in Salesforce, Oracle, Zuora, and NetSuite
- Support the billing process, including generating invoices, resolving billing issues, and ensuring accurate revenue recognition
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistency in order management processes and procedures
- Continuously improve order management and billing processes, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements
- Generate reports and analyse data to provide insights into order management and billing performance

Hours of Work
This is a full-time position based in Penang, primarily working core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed. This is a hybrid position working in the office up to 3 days a week.
