- Document current-state processes, process variations, pain points, root causes, business rules, risks, controls and dependencies using clear process maps, inventories and supporting analysis.
- Propose prioritised process, product, operating-model and technology improvements to enhance customer experience, straight-through processing, turnaround time, scalability, control effectiveness, resilience and commercial outcomes.
- Lead discovery sessions, process reviews, design workshops, impact assessments and business requirements definition.
- Define future-state customer journeys, business rules, process maps, functional requirements, acceptance criteria and target operating model requirements.
- Challenge assumptions and recommend solutions that are customer-focused, scalable, secure, compliant, resilient and operationally sustainable.
Delivery, governance and adoption
- Support prioritisation, governance, vendor and technology engagement, testing, migration, implementation and post-implementation stabilisation and continuous improvement.
- Ensure traceability from business outcomes and requirements through solution design, testing and production readiness.
- Drive stakeholder alignment, business readiness, adoption and measurable benefits realisation across Group and country teams.
Market insight, risk and controls
- Monitor payment market developments, regulatory changes, scheme requirements and emerging capabilities relevant to ASEAN.
- Benchmark Maybank against regional and global banks and identify opportunities to improve customer experience, revenue, processing efficiency and regional connectivity.
- Embed regulatory, operational risk, fraud, liquidity, settlement, data, security, resilience and audit requirements into solution design.
Qualifications and Experience:
