Senior Payments & Cards Product Specialist (ATM Switch & Debit Cards)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Payments & Cards Product Specialist to lead end-to-end delivery of projects across ATM Terminals, EFT Switching, Debit Cards, Card Issuing, Acquiring, and Digital Payments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in card payment ecosystems, ATM technologies, transaction switching, payment networks, and banking systems.

Responsibilities

Lead project delivery for ATM terminals, ATM switching, debit cards, and payment systems.
Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
Drive implementation and integration of card issuing and acquiring solutions.
Work with VISA, Mastercard, UPI, and national payment schemes.
Manage and support ATM terminal deployments including NCR, Diebold, and GRG devices.
Ensure compliance with ISO8583, EMV, PCI-DSS, PA-DSS, and card scheme standards.
Design and integrate APIs, web services, back-office systems, and payment platforms.
Work with HSM technologies, encryption, key management, and cryptographic protocols.
Perform requirement analysis, solution design, impact assessment, cost estimation, and project planning.
Collaborate with business, operations, vendors, and technology teams to deliver innovative payment solutions.
Support cloud, digital transformation, open banking, and emerging payment initiatives.

Mandatory Experience

8+ years of experience in Payments, Cards, ATM, or Switching domains.
Strong hands-on experience in Card Issuing and Acquiring.
Experience with ISO8583 messaging and transaction processing.
Experience with ATM terminals and EFT switching platforms.
Knowledge of VISA, Mastercard, UPI, and payment scheme compliance.
Strong understanding of banking and financial services systems.
