Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Performance Tester with strong hands-on expertise in LoadRunner to lead and execute end-to-end performance testing activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing performance test scenarios, executing tests, analysing results, identifying performance bottlenecks, and recommending improvements to ensure application stability, scalability, and optimal performance.

Candidates with experience in the banking or financial services domain will have an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute end-to-end performance testing activities to validate application performance, scalability, stability, and reliability.
• Develop and maintain performance test scripts using LoadRunner, including scripting, scenario design, test execution, and result analysis.
• Conduct various types of performance testing, including load, stress, endurance, and spike testing.
• Analyse performance test results to identify bottlenecks, response-time issues, resource utilisation concerns, and system limitations.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance using tools such as SiteScope, Dynatrace, PerfMon, or equivalent monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with developers, infrastructure teams, database administrators, and project stakeholders to investigate performance issues and recommend optimisation measures.
• Prepare performance test plans, test scenarios, scripts, execution reports, and detailed test summary reports.
• Track performance testing progress, communicate findings, and provide recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
• Manage performance testing activities independently, ensuring deliverables are completed within agreed timelines.
• Support performance tuning, defect investigation, root cause analysis, and validation of fixes.

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in performance testing, with proven experience managing end-to-end performance testing activities.
• Strong practical experience with LoadRunner, including scripting, scenario design, test execution, and result analysis.
• Familiarity with performance monitoring tools such as SiteScope, Dynatrace, PerfMon, or equivalent tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify performance bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
• Good understanding of performance testing methodologies, including load, stress, endurance, and spike testing.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with project stakeholders.
