Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join our client's development team. The ideal candidate has strong experience in PHP programming and is comfortable working with custom-built frameworks. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that are scalable, secure, and high-performing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and our custom framework.
- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Perform system analysis, design, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
- Lead and mentor junior developers when needed.
- Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.
- Assist in system deployment and production support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in PHP development.
- Good to have experience with custom PHP frameworks.
- Solid understanding of OOP, MVC, and software design patterns.
- Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
- Familiarity with Git version control.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid setup.
