Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and skilled Senior PHP Developer with strong experience in Laravel to join our client's development team. The ideal candidate has experience in a software house environment, enjoys solving technical challenges, and works well in a collaborative setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the Laravel framework
- Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams to implement new features
- Refactor and optimize existing code for performance, security, and scalability
- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software
- Contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in PHP and Laravel development
- Background in a software house or similar fast-paced development environment is preferred
- Strong understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and RESTful APIs
- Familiar with MySQL, Git, and front-end basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Able to communicate ideas clearly and effectively within the team and with stakeholders
- Independent, responsible, and takes ownership of tasks
Work Arrangement
- Hybrid work model: 4 days in-office, 1 day remote
- Office based in Kuala Lumpur
