Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Regular forecast review with the Product Line Manager / Business Unit Planner.
- Works from engineering plans and production specifications to establish production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements.
- Coordinates production plans to ensure materials, equipment, and raw materials are provided according to schedules.
- Works to resolve labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions.
- Close collaboration with Materials, Engineering, Production, Quality, and Logistics to meet committed customer delivery.
- Management of production work orders and inventory review, arrangement & transactions.
- Perform shipment scheduling, arrangement & transactions.
- Monitoring the movement of material through the production cycle
- Support New Product Transfer and EOL activities.
- Ensure all customers feedback and issues are addressed and closed.
- Close collaboration with various teams to drive continual improvement and initiatives.
Education and Work Experience:
- Degree in Business, supply chain, or related discipline.
- Min 3-5years of work experience in Supply & Demand Planning and Order Fulfillment in Manufacturing Environment (preferred).
- Experience in high mix low volume production is an added advantage.
- Proficiency with MRP systems, specific experience with Oracle preferred.
- Proficiency in Lean manufacturing and outside processing (OSP), pull systems & Kanban management is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and with customer focus
- Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is highly advantageous.
