- Assist in executing engineering projects by producing essential documents such as basic process flow diagrams (PFDs), equipment sizing and specifications, heat and mass balances, utilities and consumptions, P&IDs, operating manuals, automation descriptions, and HAZOP studies. You will work closely with the Process Department Head of Department (HOD) and maintain frequent contact with other departments, customers, and suppliers.
- Cooperate with the reporting line for project execution planning.
- Be part of a team responsible for all technical and process-related matters in our Oleochemical Department.
- Develop chemical process simulations using company-provided software.
- Participate in site surveys, pre-commissioning, and plant start-ups, and carry out troubleshooting on-site, producing detailed reports.
- Be present on-site for start-ups or troubleshooting at customer installations, gathering valuable feedback from industrial practice to extend our process know-how and continuously improve our product lines.
- Address health, safety, and environmental issues.
Support Desmet in process design for any company technologies, R&D, standardization processes, and sales activities.
