Senior Process Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain production processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Perform daily process checks, troubleshooting, and basic equipment adjustments.
• Identify process abnormalities, production issues, and quality concerns, and escalate them to the relevant Engineer or Supervisor.
• Support Engineers in process improvement, optimization, and implementation of new processes.
• Conduct machine and process parameter checks according to established SOPs and work instructions.
• Assist with machine setup, changeover, testing, and process verification.
• Collect and record production and process data accurately.
• Support investigation of production defects, downtime, and process deviations.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to resolve operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, SOPs, 5S, and company policies.
• Perform MES system registration and update production/process information in the system.
• Prepare basic reports and documentation related to production and process performance.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and other duties assigned by the supervisor or engineer.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, production, process, or equipment-related roles is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with relevant technical qualifications may also be considered.
• Able to speak and write in English.
• Computer literate and comfortable using production/MES systems.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, machinery, and troubleshooting.
• Able to read and understand technical documents, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Willing to work on shift schedules, including overtime when required.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MES / production management systems.
• Basic knowledge of PLC, sensors, electrical or mechanical systems.
• Experience in process troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, or continuous improvement.
• Manufacturing experience in electronics, semiconductor, automotive, battery, or other high-volume production environments.
