Senior Procurement Analyst | Raw Materials & Supply Chain

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Procurement Analyst with hands-on experience in raw material procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and commodity price analysis to support regional and global operations.

Candidates from the lubricants, base oils, fuel additives, petrochemicals, or oil and gas industries are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage raw material sourcing, RFQs, supplier negotiations, and contracts.
• Analyze commodity prices, market trends, supplier costs, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Support demand forecasting, inventory planning, and supply continuity.
• Monitor supplier performance and prepare procurement reports and pricing analyses.
• Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• At least 4 years of experience in raw material procurement or strategic sourcing.
• Experience in lubricants, base oils, fuel additives, petrochemicals, or oil and gas is highly preferred.
• Strong supplier negotiation, cost analysis, and commodity pricing analysis skills; ICIS or similar pricing benchmark exposure is an advantage.
• Advanced Excel skills; Power BI and MS Access are preferred.
• Mandarin/Chinese proficiency is an advantage.

Additional Information

• Must be based in Malaysia and legally authorized to work; no visa sponsorship available.
• Initial 1-year contract with a high possibility of permanent conversion.
