Senior Procurement Executive

Kenangan Coffee Malaysia is seeking a proactive, commercially sharp Senior Procurement Executive. In this role, you will lead end-to-end sourcing across either trade or non-trade categories—partnering closely with store development, project teams, and vendors to power new store openings and operational needs. Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Experience: Minimum 4 years of procurement experience, preferably within F&B, FMCG, or Hospitality sectors.
• Domain Expertise: Proven track record in sourcing F&B commodities, raw materials, equipment, furniture, and maintenance services.
• Commercial & Negotiation Skills: Strong vendor management, price benchmarking, and negotiation skills with a focus on quality, pricing, and delivery reliability.
• Proactive & Detail-Oriented: A strong sense of urgency, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize changing sourcing requests.
• Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with Store Development, Site Supervisors, Project Managers, and vendors.
• Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-changing retail environment where timelines and priorities shift quickly.

Job Role:

• Trade & Non-Trade Sourcing: Lead end-to-end procurement activities for F&B materials, equipment, furniture, and general services.
• New Store Opening & Project Support: Partner with Procurement Management, Store Development, and Project teams to deliver equipment and materials on time for store rollouts and replacements.
• Supplier Development & Negotiation: Evaluate, onboard, and manage vendors to secure competitive commercial terms, quality assurances, and reliable delivery lead times.
• Equipment & Maintenance Support: Coordinate procurement for store equipment replacements and maintenance needs, resolving recurring supplier or operational issues.
• Pipeline & Priority Management: Review sourcing requisitions, maintain up-to-date procurement records, and proactively follow up on order timelines and schedule changes.
• Cost Optimization & Reporting: Monitor vendor performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and prepare regular procurement updates to support executive decision-making.
