Senior Procurement Manager

Job Responsibilities:

Manage and provide oversight and direction to the purchasing team to ensurethe team are performing effectively.

Strategic planning for Department to achieve its annual objectives.

Implement cost reduction program with suppliers, monitoring product andservice quality / on-time delivery performance by key suppliers.

Drive sourcing strategy and execution that delivers a competitive advantageincluding implementation of the strategic supplier initiatives including supplierselection, development and supplier consolidation to ensure sourcing optimization and overall supplier performance.

Analyze supplier performance and evaluate in terms of delivery, quality andresponsiveness.

Review/ update Approved Supplier List.

Identify and evaluate Sourcing opportunities. Develop negotiation andsupplier with optimal quality, cost and delivery including monitor andanalyzing supplier performance for benchmarking and expenses optimization.

Maintain purchase order and ensure on-time and accurate submission oforders to suppliers.

A solution provider to all purchasing matter.

Develop and maintain good relation with supplier and internal stake holders.

Developing suitable product plan proposal and price assortment strategy todelivers profit to the company.

Liaise with material planner team to forecast a balanced quantity of products/ material to purchase.

Ensures sourcing strategies achieve cost competitiveness, cost reductionprogram and maximizing purchasing value.

Identify and develop strategic supply sources for the all commodities.

Work with Supplier, Engineering and other department to drive Lean initiatesincluding just in time sourcing.

Manage the material function to meet the KPI.

To monitor on-time receiving of inventory.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration,Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in procurement or supply chainmanagement, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.

Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier negotiations, and contract management.

Expertise in developing sourcing strategies that align with organizationalobjectives and deliver competitive advantages.
