Senior Procurement Manager (Manufacturing)We are seeking an experienced
Senior Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing and procurement activities within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring cost efficiency, supply continuity, quality, and compliance across direct and indirect procurement.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and execute procurement strategies for raw materials, components, MRO, capital equipment, and manufacturing services.
- Manage end-to-end sourcing activities including supplier selection, RFQs/RFPs, commercial evaluations, and contract negotiations.
- Build strong supplier partnerships to ensure quality, delivery reliability, and continuous improvement.
- Drive cost optimisation initiatives through strategic sourcing, value engineering, and supplier development.
- Partner closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to support manufacturing operations and new projects.
- Oversee contract management, supplier performance reviews, and procurement governance.
- Monitor market trends, commodity pricing, and supply risks impacting manufacturing operations.
- Lead, coach, and develop the procurement team while fostering a high-performance culture.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and ESG standards.
Requirements:- Bachelor degree in Supply Chain management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of procurement experience, with strong exposure to manufacturing environments.
- Proven experience in direct materials sourcing and complex contract negotiations.
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is preferred.
- Professional certification (CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
