Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for data center projects and operations, including sourcing, quotation evaluation, purchase order issuance, and supplier management.
- Source and procure critical data center infrastructure, including electrical, mechanical, IT, networking, security, and facility-related equipment and services.
- Conduct RFQs, RFPs, tenders, and supplier evaluations to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and service standards.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, contracts, service agreements, and payment terms with vendors and service providers.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and contract compliance to ensure uninterrupted project execution and operations.
- Manage procurement activities for CAPEX and OPEX expenditures in accordance with approved budgets.
- Coordinate with logistics providers, warehouses, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, contracts, and purchase documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Support vendor onboarding, qualification, and ongoing performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contractual obligations, and audit requirements.
- Resolve procurement-related issues, including supplier disputes, delivery delays, shortages, and quality concerns.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, preferably within Data Center, Telecommunications, IT Infrastructure, Critical Facilities, Construction, or M&E environments.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, contract administration, and strategic sourcing.
- Experience managing RFQs, RFPs, tenders, and supplier negotiations.
- Understanding of data center infrastructure and equipment, including power, cooling, networking, IT hardware, and facilities systems is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and cost-management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple procurement projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience supporting data center construction, expansion, fit-out, or operational environments is preferred.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional and regional teams.
