Job Description
1. Product Management & Lifecycle
- Manage assigned product portfolios throughout the product lifecycle, from sourcing and launch to performance review and phase-out
- Develop product strategies based on market demand, sales performance, profitability and customer requirements
- Monitor product performance and propose pricing, portfolio or promotional improvements where required
- Analyse market and competitor trends to identify new product and business opportunities
- Coordinate product certifications, SIRIM submissions and relevant compliance documentation
2. Product & Inventory Planning
- Monitor inventory levels, stock movement and product availability through the ERP system and coordinate replenishment actions with relevant teams
- Review slow-moving and obsolete inventory and recommend appropriate promotional or clearance strategies
- Prepare inventory and product performance reports for management
3. Sales & Commercial Analysis
- Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly product and sales performance reports
- Analyse sales performance, product categories, gross margins, profitability and outstanding orders to identify trends, risks and opportunities
- Provide actionable recommendations to support commercial and product-related decision-making
4. Product Marketing & Go-to-Market
- Develop and coordinate product launch plans and go-to-market activities
- Coordinate product packaging, artwork, creative requirements and product content accuracy for assigned product portfolios
- Plan and execute product marketing campaigns and promotional activities
5. Cross-functional Coordination & Process Improvement
- Monitor supplier performance, pricing, lead times and product availability, while providing supplier evaluation, supporting quotation review and product sourcing activities
- Facilitate product meetings, sales briefings and cross-functional discussions with relevant teams
- Identify and implement improvements to product management, reporting and operational processes
- Undertake other responsibilities and strategic projects assigned by superior/ management
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Business Management, Supply Chain or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales, inventory and product performance data
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across inter-departments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with ERP systems is an advantage
