Project Architect (Part 2) Ampang, Selangor Darul Ehsan
Role Description
This is for a full-time, on-site role for a Project Architect (Part 2) based at the headquarters of T. R. Hamzah & Yeang in Ampang, Malaysia. The role supports the design and delivery of architectural projects from concept development through documentation, working closely with senior architects and project leaders.
The position is suited for candidates seeking professional growth and in-home training in a research-driven, ecology-focused architectural practice with international projects.
Key Responsibilities include:
Assisting in architectural design development, from concept to detailed design
Preparing drawings, diagrams and presentation materials
Supporting the preparation of design development and contract documentation
Coordinating with internal teams, external consultants and clients
Contributing to environmentally responsive and ecologically design strategies
Supporting project delivery in line with design intent, quality standards and timelines
Qualifications:
Part 2 architectural qualification or equivalent
Strong design and technical skills
Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or similar
Good understanding of building regulations and documentation processes
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Interest or experience in sustainable and ecological design is an advantage
