SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER
Job Description
Calculate and determine the details of the applicable concept based on the requests of internal and external clients, safety rules, technical possibilities or restrictions of the equipment, time & cost; and to produce drawings, procedures, method statements and calculation notes as required.
Perform calculation: trailer stability, crane, barge stability and ballasting, steel calculation independently.
Steer the appointed CAD designer. Eventually steer appointed engineers of subcontractors. Controls their lifting and transport plans.
Read and understand Contract summary.
Check whether the execution planning conforms to the contract summary and are in line. Provides feedback to sales and operation personnel.
Know basic of contract management (scope, timing, budget). Detects eventual flaws at contracts.
Initiates and/or attends kick off & pre-job meetings
Takes care of the external communication of all necessary information to client/ contractor/ supplier.
Responsibilities
Fresh graduates are welcome.
You will be expected to travel for meetings and site inspections. Short period deployment for onsite project execution if required.
You will be able to plan your activities and carry them out in a timely manner, and to prepare reports, results and forecasts for your area.
You will be fluent in English and other languages and have a working knowledge of English.
You will possess a clean current driving license and international passport.
Qualifications
Master / Bachelor Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Civil or Structural.
General software knowledge (MS Office).
Our Malaysia office is located at Empire Subang.
Working hours : Mondays to Fridays 0830hrs to 1730hrs
