The Senior Project Executive supports and coordinates project activities, ensuring timely and smooth execution from planning to completion for our retail stores. The role handles costing, tenders, contractor coordination, project scheduling, and site follow-ups. It also oversees maintenance teams, monitors M&E systems, and ensures all tasks meet quality, safety, and timeline requirements while supporting management with clear communication and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tabulate price/costing comparisons and perform material selection.
- Prepare quotations and tenders.
- Monitor all variation orders to ensure they are well recorded and claimed.
- Monitor all contractual records with clients and suppliers to ensure compliance and protect the company's interests at all times.
- Source, negotiate, and coordinate with suppliers, sub-contractors, manufacturers, and vendors. Attend site meetings and briefings when required.
- Develop projects by reviewing project proposals and plans from interior designers, and discuss them with management.
- Familiarity with tender preparation and tendering procedures would be an added advantage. Maintain and monitor project schedules, project progress, coordination, and issue resolution. Monitor fit-out plans and progress of implementation (including liaising with mall fit-out teams, mechanical & electrical systems, lighting systems, etc.).
- Plan and organize resources to ensure smooth operations and corrective measures for M&E systems, facilities, and all business equipment.
- Manage a team of building services personnel responsible for regular maintenance, electrical wiring, and repair of utility systems such as heating, ventilation, plumbing, and routine structural maintenance.
- Complete implementation based on the targeted opening date.
- Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Manager or Superior.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, architectural technology, project management, or related discipline or A relevant diploma with significant project/field experience may be considered/ project management or construction-related certification (PMP, prince2, CIDB) is preferred.
- At least 3 to 5 years of working experience in the related field is required.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and follow up.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
