Job Description

This role is responsible for coordinating and completing projects on time, within budget, and within scope. It oversees all project aspects, including planning, risk management, quality control, and implementation. It provides leadership to project teams, liaises with external vendors, manages project interdependencies, and resolves business and technical challenges while ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and regulatory requirements

  • To manage project scoping, business cases approval, project planning, risk and issue management, quality control, implementation, and post implementation review.
  • To provide leadership and to manage performance of project resources including internal and external parties who are involved in the execution of the projects.
  • To liaise with external vendors in sourcing, selection, and implementation of software products.
  • To analyse and manage the impacts, interfaces, and inter-dependencies of different projects; and
  • To solve business and technical problems and propose alternatives or solutions

Key Responsibilities *

  • Accountable for delivery of decision management projects according to organisation strategy and direction
  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects for decision management
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
  • Develop project plans, define, and schedule project activities and resource requirements.
  • Manage and track progress of cross-functional teams involved in project scope and vendors on deliverables, costs, schedule, inter-team/project dependencies, risks and issues using appropriate tools.
  • Constantly monitor and periodically report on progress of the project, problems encountered and proposed solution to all stakeholders.
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project deliverables.
  • Ensure deliverables are in compliance with organisation's policies, quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage project financials to ensure that project is delivered within budget.
  • Manage vendor relationship, including vendor contract negotiation and contract management.
  • Assist in identifying improvement areas in organisation's project management processes.

Job Specification *

Qualifications

(Basic Degree/Diploma etc)

Bachelor's Degree in Business Management / Information Technology or equivalent.

Professional Qualification and/or Regulatory, Licensing requirements Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE2 certified /Agile Certified (preferred)

Relevant Work Experience

  • More than 10 years of Project Management experience with at least 8 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Delivered large and complex scale projects from project inception through the entire project life cycle.

  • Familiar with various project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project).
  • Familiar with Big Data Analytics Platform, Cloud Architechture and Enterprise Architecture Skills
  • Project Management Certification
  • Understands technical architecture such as network, infrastructure, application and IT processess.
  • Able to comfortably work on excel and powerpoint
  • Posses analytical and strategic with a track record of success in delivering results within a large complex organization.
  • Must have strong leadership and people management skills; ability to influence, organizational ability and time management.
  • Embody the organisation culture and aligns and support of organisation vision and mission.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills.
  • Highly result oriented and can work independently.
  • Demonstrates ability to build relationships and work well with peers from both business and technology stakeholders and interact effectively with internal and external parties.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise work / projects in the team.
  • Display good leadership qualities, high commitment and drive to complete the assignement.
