Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute towards QA engineering best practices across the Engineering function.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Vendor teams to ensure high-quality digital banking experiences.
• Design, create, and execute well-structured manual and automated test suites for assigned applications.
• Actively contribute to test documentation including Test Plans, Test Cases, and Issue Lists.
• Advocate for test automation adoption in alignment with the established test strategy.
• Develop and maintain documentation for automated testing tools.
• Support maintenance and enhancement of in-house testing tools and related source code.
• Design, evaluate, and communicate test solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Document test steps and results accurately.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, design, and methodologies.
• Familiarity with testing techniques and automation frameworks/tools such as:

1. Karate API
2. Robot Framework
3. Selenium
4. Cucumber

• Hands-on experience in exploratory and regression testing.
• Proficiency in API testing and automated API test development.
• Experience in mobile application testing across Android and iOS platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as:

1. Jenkins
2. Bitbucket
3. GitHub Actions
4. GitLab CI

• Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile methodology or lean startup environments.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, flexible environment.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing covering functional, performance, and security aspects.
