Snr Quality Manager
Senior Quality Manager to lead the Quality function at plant level. This role is responsible for driving quality strategy, ensuring ISO compliance, leading a quality team, and embedding Lean Six Sigma culture across manufacturing operations.
The successful candidate will be a strong leader with hands-on quality expertise, capable of balancing governance, operational execution, and continuous improvement in a MNC environment.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Quality Management
- Lead, manage, and develop the Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams.
- Define and implement plant-wide quality strategy, policies, and KPIs aligned with global standards.
- Act as the key quality representative to regional and global stakeholders.
ISO & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with ISO standards (ISO 9001; ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 is an added advantage).
- Lead internal and external audits, including customer, certification, and regulatory audits.
- Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
Lean Six Sigma & Continuous Improvement
- Drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives to reduce defects, improve process capability, and eliminate waste.
- Lead root cause analysis (8D, RCA, FMEA, CAPA) and ensure effective corrective actions.
- Champion continuous improvement culture across production, engineering, and supply chain.
Manufacturing Quality & Stakeholder Management
- Oversee incoming, in-process, and final product quality.
- Manage customer quality issues, complaints, and escalations professionally.
- Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Production teams to ensure quality is built into processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related discipline.
- Minimum 812 years of experience in Quality Management within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience leading quality teams in a plant or regional role.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO standards, especially ISO 9001.
- Lean Six Sigma Certified (Green Belt or Black Belt required).
- Experience working in a MNC manufacturing environment is preferably.
- Strong audit, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to operate in a structured, matrix-driven organisation.
