Senior Quantitative Research Analyst

Our ambitious organization is looking for a high potential candidate who is adept in modelling of business scenarios in order to enhance our business performance or profits. The candidate must also demonstrate ability to listen, digest and communicate business ideas to internal stakeholders fluently and convincingly in English both written and spoken. The ideal candidate needs to be of high calibre and has open mindedness to improve in different aspects of his profession be it analytical skills, project management skills or business modelling skills. We are also looking for someone who is humble and has the potential of being a leader while working well along others.

Duties and Responsibilities

Turn business pain points into mathematical problems.

Analyse large sets of data.

Develop statistical or mathematical models.

Validate the information gained through statistical models.

Discuss with other internal stakeholders to gather information and lead discussions if needed.

Convert data insights into ideas to improve business performance.

Communicate ideas across to stakeholders through ppt or equivalent.

Service & Process Management

• Oversee end-to-end handling of analytics requests (ticketing systems like JIRA), ensuring SLAs are met.
• Identify process bottlenecks, implement improvements, and automate repetitive tasks.
• Establish best practices for incident resolution, root cause analysis, and knowledge sharing.
• Conduct deep-dive analysis to resolve complex technical issues (e.g., data pipeline failures, model inaccuracies).

Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in hard sciences, math/statistics or engineering or finance or business.

Analytical/logical thinking skills.

Communication and writing/presentation skills.

Spreadsheet modelling or mathematical modelling.

Experience with SQL databases or equivalent.

Project management.
