Job Description

Job Responsibility

Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for construction projects.
Perform quantity take-offs from construction drawings and specifications to accurately measure and price project elements.
Support the implementation of cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle, monitoring expenses and identifying potential cost overruns.
Participate in value engineering exercises to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or functionality.
Assist in the preparation and evaluation of tender documents, including bills of quantities and contract terms.
Contribute to contract negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
Maintain accurate records of project costs, variations, and progress payments, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
Attending Meeting & Tender Interview.

Job Requirements

Familiar in General Civil Engineering Earthwork & Infra work Scopes.
Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Entry-level position; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Proficiency in cost estimation, quantity take-off, and cost control techniques.
Familiarity with value engineering principles and their application in construction projects.
Basic understanding of contract negotiation and budget management processes.
Excellent communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (written and spoken) to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in the construction industry.
Work base in Kuala Lumpur HQ.
