We are partnering with a well-established organisation in Malaysia to identify a Senior R&D Manager who will lead innovation and commercialization of Ready-To-Eat products.
This role will be responsible for driving new product development, translating culinary concepts into scalable manufacturing processes, and ensuring products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
about the job
- Lead end-to-end development of RTE products from concept to commercialization.
- Drive product innovation aligned with consumer trends and business growth.
- Ensure products meet food safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with Production, QA, Procurement, and Commercial teams to ensure scalability and successful product launches.
- Lead sensory evaluation, product optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage and develop the R&D team to drive innovation and execution.
about the requirement
- Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Culinary Science, or related field.
- 8-12 years of R&D experience in food manufacturing, RTE, central kitchen, or FMCG environments.
- Strong experience in product development and commercialization.
- Good understanding of food processing, shelf-life, packaging, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
