Senior Recruiter (IDL & DL) - Batu Kawan, Penang

Position Summary

Korn Ferry is looking for a Senior Recruiter to join our RPO team, supporting one of our key clients - a global leader in the semiconductor and advanced technology industry.

Based at Batu Kawan Industrial Park, Penang, you will manage end-to-end recruitment across a range of Direct Labour (DL) and Indirect Labour (IDL) positions. This is a permanent opportunity with Korn Ferry, offering the chance to work closely with a leading global organisation while developing your career within a global talent solutions business.

Working arrangement: Hybrid – 4 days onsite in Batu Kawan and 1 day working from home.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage the full end-to-end recruitment lifecycle across a portfolio of DL and IDL positions, from intake and sourcing through to offer management.
• Partner closely with hiring managers and key stakeholders to understand workforce requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Proactively source and engage talent through a variety of channels, building strong pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Develop targeted sourcing strategies, including talent mapping, market mapping, Boolean searches and direct sourcing.
• Provide hiring managers with meaningful talent market insights, including candidate availability, market conditions and salary expectations.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and act as a recruitment partner throughout the hiring process.
• Champion recruitment best practices and identify opportunities to improve candidate experience, processes and overall recruitment effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate recruitment data and reporting while ensuring strong ATS and process compliance.
• Contribute to broader talent acquisition initiatives and projects as part of the Korn Ferry RPO team.

What We're Looking For

• Solid end-to-end recruitment experience gained within in-house Talent Acquisition, RPO or a recruitment environment supporting a large/global organisation.
• Experience recruiting within manufacturing, semiconductor, engineering or other high-volume/industrial environments would be highly advantageous.
• Hands-on experience hiring for Direct Labour (DL) and/or Indirect Labour (IDL) positions.
• Strong sourcing capability with experience using direct sourcing techniques, Boolean searches, talent mapping and recruitment platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to advise and partner with hiring managers.
• Comfortable managing multiple vacancies and priorities within a fast-paced and dynamic hiring environment.
• Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and maintaining accurate recruitment data.
• Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Collaborative, adaptable and comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider recruitment team.
