Mission
Act as a strategic partner within the Talent Acquisition team, owning the full-cycle recruitment process with a focus on identifying, engaging, and securing high-caliber talent aligned with Shopee's culture, core competencies, and long-term organizational goals.
This role is responsible for leading consultative hiring strategies and proactive sourcing initiatives, with a particular focus on senior-level and hard-to-fill positions. The individual will collaborate cross-functionally with business leaders to ensure a high-impact, data-driven, and candidate-centric hiring process.
Scope of Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, including role scoping, talent mapping, sourcing, screening, competency-based interviewing, offer structuring, and closing for mid-to-senior and niche technical positions.
- Conduct market and talent pool assessments, defining sourcing strategies and building pipelines of passive candidates for current and future business-critical roles.
- Develop and recommend compensation and offer proposals, driving the offer negotiation process with business alignment and candidate experience in mind.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to align on business context, role requirements, and hiring strategy, facilitating calibration and decision-making touchpoints throughout the process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and functional leaders to translate workforce planning into executable talent acquisition strategies.
- Drive and support strategic TA initiatives, including CRM/candidate engagement campaigns, recruitment process optimization, and scalable sourcing frameworks.
- Monitor and analyze key recruiting metrics and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement, especially in high-impact and specialized talent segments.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert in recruitment strategy consulting, identifying opportunities to refine Shopee's hiring approach based on market trends, internal performance data, and feedback loops.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Business, HR, or related field.
- Solid experience in full-cycle recruitment, with a focus on senior and hard-to-fill roles.
- Strong background in strategic sourcing and executive search, ideally in tech, consulting, or large organizations.
- Proficient in competency-based interviewing and behavioral assessment.
- Data-driven, with ability to analyze recruitment metrics and deliver strategic insights.
- Skilled in LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS tools (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever), Excel, and Google Workspace.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiar with DE&I practices in recruitment.
- Advanced/fluent English.
- Availability for hybrid model (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).
